Is Safe Passage now GONE??

Since they did away with testing I'm so glad they've done away with this. Do we still have to upload passport and photos?

Thanks - I thought Safe Passage would be gone (starting tomorrow?) but thought maybe they collected the information even though it wasn't a requirement for sailing. The screenshot is great!

Blah. I don't understand why, but I will be ready.
This allows them to expedite the arrival process when you are in the terminal. It really does speed things up because instead of taking pictures/verifying everyone when you arrive at the desk, now you dont even have to go to a desk unless there are issues with your documentation.

It really has sped things up a TON and made arrival more convenient. Now if we could just get them to stop the 12 AM Online check in opening and move it to a more reasonable time 😔

The Safe Passage site was also updated.

Safe Passage Portal Access

** COVID-19 Screening Update**

For sailings from the U.S. beginning on or after November 14, 2022, Disney Cruise Line no longer requires Guests to be tested for COVID-19 regardless of vaccination status.

In accordance with this change, Safe Passage is no longer accepting new account registrations. Guests who sailed prior to November 14, 2022, may still log into their Safe Passage account to review legal and health records associated with their previous voyage(s).

I went there at my 15 day mark and this text hadn't been put in place yet but I was unable to create an account, so I waited a few days and this appeared.

Edited to add a quote block to the Safe passage info so it was clear where their text ended and mine resumed.

Interesting. I’m checked in, but not at my 15 day mark. If I click on the safe passage link, it takes me to the health info in my safe passage account from last year. If I try to add the new reservation, I get the “come back at day 15” message.

I had never created an account before and it wasn’t working to find my reservation. I’m assuming that’s because it wasn’t going to be necessary for my cruise as it now indicates. And I assume once you’re within your 15 day period it won’t allow you to link your new reservation number.

Thank you. Good to know. Can we please have the staggered check ins back?

I agree. I wish we could checkin by castaway status. Just like booking window for new releases. And since dcl wants to be “normal” cruises now, when can we get our boarding number ONE back?

As long as they stop choosing 6am/8am EST... I'm sick to death of the 3am wake up calls and not being able to get back to sleep. This is the one time being on PST is a benefit.

Thats the hard part is that no time works best for all! Middle of the day and people are at work and can't either. I am in EST and would rather do midnight then wake up early. 8 am est is terrible for those on EST since that is getting kids to school time and start of work day.

That's right, they are recommending but not requiring vaccination now so Safe Passage upload is not needed.
