Is RotR and TRON possible on the same day using $ILL?

Has anyone tried booking Tron and GOTG ritual queues at 7 am? The following seems to require a person to be in the park to get a VQ if hopping (I think they’re probably thinking only about the 1 pm VQ as the 7 am sell’s in 2-3 seconds right now)

You can’t hold two VQs at the same time, have to choose one, then use it, and wait until park hopping time (and yes, be in the second park) to join the other. So there’s a chance you won’t get both but it sounds like both have been available after 2 pm lately.

You can buy a max of 2 a day at WDW if you have park hoppers. For an ILL$ you will have to wait until the wait times are after 2 pm to buy without a park pass reservation.

Sorry, but I'm confused by your answer. Since you can actually select a time to return (if available) for any ILL$ purchase, you don't have to wait for ILL - you just need to select a time range that's after 2PM and after park hopping starts. The 'waiting' until 2PM is for Genie+/LL selections, which are based on 'next available' timing. You can't make a G+/LL selection until after that attraction's return times have reached 2PM in that 'other' park.

Way too many moving parts for Genie+/LL/ILL$/park hopping.....!

Yes you’re right. I was researching VQ. Forgot that with ILL$ you do get to select a time but the early times do move and sell out quickly on crowded days.

Time change issues: When SDMT was a ILL$ I selected a time of 9:30 am right at 7 am and even the grayed out screen in the background (confirmation page) displayed 9:30 am but what got booked was 6 pm. I was so upset (was always able to get ROTR VQ when it would sell out in 0.5 secs so I am not slow). Fortunately this has not happened since (even during Christmas/NY week, IT might have started releasing more LlI$ according to resort occupancy.)

Solution: I went to guest services at our resort (AOA) in my pajamas (wait was 30 mins). At 7:17 am more times were released while I was still waiting (non resort guests can book at 9 am so key is getting to a CM before park opening). Fortunately that conflicted with our STK71 dinner at 5:30 pm and the CM was able to change the ILL$ to an earlier time.

The LLI$ is separate from the VQ.

Has anyone had any experience with RS where LLI$ and VQ are close and if there were any issues. Since you can only hold one RS I wouldn’t think it would conflict but since you’re going through the LL with RS I’m not sure if it would take an entitlement off for LLI$ for the second adult if your VQ was first.

I suppose you can show a purchase, maybe keep a screenshot of the VQ showing details: how many people are in your party (we’ve had issues at HS).
