Is Rose Garden still good for proposal?

With the hub construction going on, I was wondering if it had any effect on the magic of popping the question there. The pros would be easy access to PhotoPass Photographers, and hopefully a nice setting with castle in the background. The other 2 possibilities would be the Wishing Well or inside in front of the mosaics. The cons for those would be no access to PP photographers- just our cell phone pix.
TIA for any advice!

I thought the Rose Garden was gone? or maybe not yet. Check the Hub construction pictures to know for sure.

I'm pretty sure that the Rose Garden is the location for the FP+ Wishes...so it's still there. We were there last October and it was a good location to watch Wishes, not as great as in front but no 2 hour wait so that helped, lol.

OP, I'm going to guess that anywhere that the question is popped will be special to the couple. If you talk to a Photopass Photographer before hand you may be able to get one to wander over to your chosen spot at the right time.

My daughter has long said that her "as yet unknown" fiancé to be WILL propose to her at the wishing well, or the answer will be no....she has employed her sister to be sure that he is aware of this requirement, lol. Non-Disney lovers need not apply.

I love that!
I called the Memory Maker number and got a helpful person. She said there is a little alcove just beyond the M&M topiaries where a PP photographer is set up with a tripod. She also said that I could go into City Hall and talk to a PP manager and see if we can arrange for one of their photographers to just happen to be walking by when the event is going to happen at the Wishing Well. I think I am just going to have to be mentally flexible (not always easy for me!) and hope that, no matter where and how, it will all work out for the best!
Thanks for your help!

Sounds like a thorny proposition to me.;)

As a woman who was proposed to after a nasty argument and has been married to the same man for almost 32 years, it might not be the place setting she remembers but the thought.

Your post made me smile. My DH and I decided to get married, very unromantically, while driving back to our apartment. We have been married for 32 years also! How we met ( strangers on a train) was much more romantic and that is the memory that we celebrate.
Your post also made me smile because there is a very good chance that my DD will be hungry when this takes place and may be a bit grouchy! Very curious to see how it all plays out. :)

Have her favorite snack under the ring. Doesn't matter where. :)

Just make sure she doesn't eat the ring!

First of all, congrats!

Second, you know your almost intended, think if she will be comfortable with a public proposal...I'm pretty reserved, I don't chat up strangers and probably would have walked away if my now dh did that in public! Everyone is different I just have some friends with some very funny stories despite the best and sweet intentions of their hubs. We got engaged on a remote island off the Irish coast so no one could see me cry. It was perfect for me! I had a friend who was proposed to during illuminations, which was perfect for her, just saying, think about that. I had a friend who was proposed to on the jumbo torn at a sportsball game she is still pissed about it:) he thought it was romantic...

Again, congrats and I'm sure you'll figure out the perfect place!
/exciting/wonderful/let the planning begin!
