Is ROL FP+ Necessary?

Hi,

We have a FP+ for ROL this coming Friday for the earlier show on a two show evening (We don't plan on going to the later show). Just wondering if FP+ is needed. I hate to have the FP tied up that prevents us from getting additional FP's. TIA!

Keep the FP.
AND, arrive at least 30 minutes before show-time.

Unless you want to line up in the stand by line an hour early to ensure your family gets a seat, I would keep the FP+. The standby seating area is not as large as the FP+ seating area and it fills up really quickly every time we have tried to see the show.

I guess it depends on your priorities, but people cancel RoL FP all of the time. Like just now, it took me less than five minutes to find five FP for RoL for the first show, looking in groups of two and three. I've been checking same day availability for FoP FP, and RoL FP pop up all of the time. Personally, if your other two FP are early, I would give up the RoL FP, and then get a 4th, 5th, etc., and then look for RoL FP in the afternoon.
