I am looking at planning a vacation for March 21-2 of 2008. Yes I know it is Easter week--but I'm a teacher and that is our spring break.
I am looking into getting a resort room for March 21-22, then renting points March 23-26. I used to be DVC and know points are much more expensive Friday/Saturday so I am avoiding those dates. I am trying to post on the rental board--my first title didn't meet guidelines
--to see how many points I would need and if anyone has some.
Since this is a peak period for points, is this a smart thing to do, or should I just bite the bullet and get 6 nights in a non-DVC room? I have 5 in my family so I need a 2BR. I'm not even picky about which resort--I just thought it would be some cost savings over a non-DVC room, but since it is Easter week I"m wondering if I'm just fooling myself.
