Is rain a big issue this time of year??

We will be leaving on Friday and I was just curious if it rains a lot this time of year in Orlando. Also, do you think I can get away with only packing 1 "warmer" outfit for each of us for the week? I have lots of tank tops/shortsleeve stuff, and shorts, and I hate to fill my suitcases with "bulkier" stuff.

I've been watching the weather report everyday, as we are leaving Thursday. The high temp is supposed to be around 90 all week long. I'd bring one pair of pants (I'm wearing mine on the plane down) and a sweatshirt or sweater (more for the air conditioning and not the weather).

There's no reason to bring "warm" clothes unless you get cold in air conditioned places ... even in the middle of the night you'll be lucky to see anything below 70 ...

Thanks, I was a bit worried as DS's teacher's aide told me that they were there is May one year and it was really chilly.

I just want to be prepared. Let's hope for no big rains.

I did my homework before saying this, but it would be somewhat unusual for it to be "chilly" during May ...
