Is pool hopping permitted?

We're going to be staying at the All Star Sports in September. Two pools will be out of order while we're there and so my DH and I thought that we would use another pool at another resort. We will have a couple of relax days to lounge around the pool. At first we just figured we'd go to one of the other All Stars, but then we got to thinking that if we were allowed to do this, then maybe we could go to one of the Deluxe Resorts and use their pool - plus the kids would be happier with waterslides. Has anyone else ever "pool hopped"? Is this allowed?

No, it's not allowed. The amenities of the resorts such as the pool are for the people staying at those resorts. That is one of the perks they get for paying the money they did to stay there.

Your not allowed to pool hop. If a bunch of people pool hop to a resort that is already full, the people who paid alot of money to stay there may not be able to swim. I've heard the CM's may check to see if you are actually staying at the resort before letting you in the pool. Maybe you should get the water park option on your tickets?

As the pp noted, pool hopping isn't allowed at WDW. If your resort pools are closed, they will provide an alternative for you. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

As a side note, the OP asked a question in search of a simple answer. There's not need for the thread to provide any info other than that.

As a guest of any All Star resort, you are allowed to use the other All Star resorts pools.
