Me and my 17 yo daughter are going to be in DLP in July 2016, will be staying in Disneyland Hotel.
I am accustomed with WDW to do a lot of planning, and it usually is a life-saver there. Even in Disneyland in Cali in January - I still did some dining reservations to get good places for the shows and parades - and was very thankful to myself for doing it.
Now I'm trying to do some planning for our DLP trip, and find it really cumbersome. First - to make dining reservations you need to CALL. I guess I'm spoiled by US parks, because I really like that I'm "in control" of everything, and can change anything I want just clicking buttons myself. It really bothers me that every time something comes up or I need to change something - I need to call and talk to somebody.
Is it really important for DLP to book the dining in advance, or we give it a shot, and just try to make reservations "on the spot"?
If dining in DLP is the same busy as in WDW, I guess I would force myself to come up with some plan, and will call them. But I would be very thankful for the advice to people who have experience - is it possible to get by without advance reservations? We are only two people.
Thank you!
