I leave in a day, I am more than modestly excited.... Anyways though, I've read a bit about Pleasure Island, but mainly gathered my info on it from the Unnoficial Guide. From that book I gather that its time has come and gone, its referred to as a "white elephant" and they refer to things from times passed that no longer happen.
Is it worth going to? The only impression I have from it is one from The Simpsons. They visited the new years every night thing. Seems like a great idea. So how is ole PI these days?
