Is parking at the DLH included with a Premium AP?

I have a deluxe AP and am figuring out if it is cost effective to upgrade to a Premium since we want to go to the park on one Saturday. I will be staying at the DLH.

This is will be our only trip for the year, and doing my calculations it would only be cost effective if I got that parking benefit. (or did a hopper on the Saturday I want to be in the park)

No, parking is only valid at Mickey and Friends, or Toy Story or Pumbaa. It is not accepted at the DLH.

I've always wondered why they didn't include it or offer a discount if you have PAP. Just doesn't make sense to me since they are within a few dollars of each other.

Probably because they do not want AP holders to park at the hotels (or DTD) and go into the theme parks.

Right, the issue would be "But it says we get free parking at the DLH/GCH..." "Only when you stay here." Imagine this conversation 30+ times a day at each hotel....

Typically they don't even let you on hotel grounds without a reservation. I've been stuck behind people so many times at the grand who were instructed to make an immediate U-turn off property.

Yes, but imagine the backup if they had these 30 conversations a day. And no you don't have to have a reservation to get onto property. You can park if you are eating at Napa or Storytellers, if you are picking someone up, dropping someone, have a package, etc... Now let's add some confused soul who thought the read it as "Free parking at the Disneyland Hotels" in their paperwork.

I imagine it would be pretty quick. You either have a reservation (aka on the list they consult) or you don't. It should totally be a perk. I love Disney so much I send them 5-figures per year. It'd be nice to get a bit of reciprocity.
