We are staying at PVI in March. When I called I asked about the social hour and it could very well end up being a light dinner for us a few nights. They said the menu varies from tacos, enchiladas, to pasta. Breakfast includes the normal breakfast stuff...make your own waffles, bacon, egg, cereal, oatmeal, etc. If you are on facebook, they sometimes have special deals for FB fans. I got a cheaper rate by calling them instead of booking online. Some have said the rooms are really small, but it's just me and my daughter, so that won't be a problem. We are definitely saving money by staying here rather than Paradise Pier. We'll have to splurge our next trip and stay at a resort hotel!
