Is Park Res needed to keep a ressie?

Planning a large family trip. Sister and I decided to do the ressies for everyone. Only smaller tables were available so I logged into my husbands account to make the third. The problem I've encountered is that he doesn't actually use his registered account. I have him listed as an adult that I manage on MDE. So his ticket is linked to one and the ressie is linked to another. Will the system drop the ressie if there isn't a park res or as long as I have the confirmation number will I be fine? I don't want to lose the ressie but also don't really want to have to call into Disney and attempt to get the two accounts linked.

Edit: I resolved this problem internally by transferring his ticket to the other account. Still curious if anyone knows if a reservation gets dropped if you don't hold tickets or if you're on your own in this regard.

If you're talking about a dining reservation being dropped, no, the ADR system isn't connected to the park reservation system or the ticket system. The only connection is to the resort reservation system, and only to open the 60+10 ADR booking window. After the ADR is made, it stays, whether the guests have park reservations or not.
