Is Park Fare a decent substitute for this princess thing?

Okay so i got the big NO WAY when we tried to do the princess breakfast at the castle

in fact the only princess thing we can do is our last night, at the Park Fare, where Cindarella is. I figure that's a lousy dinner to end the vacation. Is it worth it?

DOes anyone have any scandalous ways of getting into the princess thing at the magic kingdom?

There is a Princess dinner in Epcot at Akershus in Norway. It is more comparable to Cinderella's Royal Table than 1900 Park Fare in my opinion. I thought CRT was over hyped for the price we paid for breakfast. I did get to eat in the castle once though.;)

we enjoyed the food & the characters at Park Fare last year. Cinderella & the prince visit each & every table, pose for pictures, chat a bit. They also do a lovely little dance together about once an hour, and have the little ones join them on the small dance floor. Most of the food was actually quite tasty; there were only a couple of things we really disliked (hard as a rock dinner rolls and the italian pasta dish was not good.)

But the BEST part of the Park Fare dinner is the stepsisters...they beat the princesses by a mile for entertainment. Hilarious antics - shrieking, arguing, flouncing around. Ridiculous grimace-smiles in photos...we laughed so hard we cried.

Dinner in the castle has it's moments, for sure...beautiful place for a meal & food's good enough (you're paying for the venue there, not spectacular food.) But for a fun Disney-way to finish your trip, Park Fare can be great.:thumbsup2

There are actually three princess meals a day at Akershus at Norway (Epcot World Showcase), not just dinner.

There's no way to get into the castle "scandalously." Disney has taken care of pretty much all the scandalous avenues for castle access that came up. The best thing to do, if you are sold on the castle, is keep checking for openings - people do cancel. And the online reservation system makes it easy to check.

I have attended Akershus in Norway the last three times I have visited and my daughter loves this place. You get to see more than just one princess. Good luck on your decision.

I've done both multiple times. The food is of the same quality to us. 1900 has more options for everyone since it's buffet. Cinderella's Royal Table was great until Cinderella stopped making appearances in the dinning room. To be quite honest we prefer 1900 Park Fair at the GF. The 4 women in my life one being my wife is very young at heart and loves 1900 so much more.

Arkusus in EC is another great breakfast that has the other princesses. The ladies did enjoy that. Again including my wife.

Have a great vacation...my suggestion is 1900.

We have done all three of the princess meals with our girls. We LOVED 1900 at the Grand Floridian. I would take that over Akereshush in Epcot any day. We did not really enjoy Akershush compared to the castle or 1900. The quality of costuming as well as the resort setting were sooo much better at 1900. I agree that the step mom and step sisters put on quite a show. Our girls (5yr and 6yr) almost forgot all about Cinderella!! We will go back again on our next trip for sure!!
