Is pandora opening in may? (did disney slip up today?)

Disney has not the foggiest of clues if something will be mechanically ready Six months from now...so that is a "plan" at this point.

And no matter what they do for small percentage discounts...those priced out of disney have been done so for good...more to

It's been a ten year policy of price assaults in what have been flat earnings for a vast majority of their traditional market segments

Disney doesn't even follow its own seasonal calender. The Summer Awakens stuff all started June 2 this year.

wasn't that MK? I think AK started it off memorial day weekend unless disney counts springs renaming and opening ealier as awaken summer (but I don't)

It soft opened Memorial Day Weekend, I believe. But the official start date was June 2.

It might be. i went on may 27th with my daughter to see everything. That was official opening of tiffins and the rest of the park was opened but I really have no clue if disney considered that opening night.

It has always been my contention that all this construction and inconvenience is all planned to coincide with the 50 year celebration in 2021....i would imagine that that year would be the one true time you can go to Disney, and see it in its purest non construction form.....looking forward to it for sure!!!

Well that certainly would be a welcomed sight and I hope it's as cool as it was back in 2000-2002

Doesn't matter when exactly it opens - crowd levels will likely be insane for a month or two. Think 5 hour standby waits in Pandora. This overflows to the rest of the park as well no doubt. However, I really don't expect a huge impact on the other 3 parks. I don't think Pandora opening leads to more vacationers to Florida that week per se...it's more the local Disney Fanatics that MUST SEE ANYTHING NEW RIGHT NOW!!!

Yea we're not planning our trip until 2018. The last 3 trips weve watched the construction and we vowed we're not coming back until its not only complete but all the kinks worked out and 2018 seems like enough time for that.
