Yes I had to do those current event assignments in school too. I don't remember having to give an opinion though..it was like you just had to write a summary and then explain to the class. You never actually gave your opinion.

I guess I have two problems with this news stuff. First, I don't know who to believe. I usually would believe regular people over government. Second, I can usually see both sides of something- so you present your side, I totally agree, then the other side presents their side and it makes me completely change my mind, but then you come back with your side and you've convinced me to your side again. I guess I'm easily influenced.

i hope you are kidding. but if you arent. where were you when i was in high school and college trying to influence girls? and i had to resort to alcohol

I understand that he really is dead. They do have DNA and photographic evidence, but are not able or not willing to release it at this time. It sounded like maybe a national security issue. It's really irrelevant as long as he's gone for good.

As I read in another statement earlier this week, "A prince found his princess. The bad guy is dead. What a magical Disney weekend!!"

Why would they pretend that he is dead? They should have done it years ago if that's what they wanted to do and if he is still alive, what is to keep him from popping up again someday? It can't even be political since it's not close to election time yet.
