OT is especially worth visiting on a Friday or Saturday night, when they have their vintage car drive-bys, which really attract a crowd. There is good shopping, a choice of seven or eight restaurants (my fave is Damon's Clubhouse, with the new interactive sports quiz feature) and lots of fairground-type rides, plus go-karts and the Sky Coaster. We went to Old Town last September. We didn't really care for it, but it was okay to see once. Maybe we expected too much. "We" included my husband, son, daughter-in-law and grandson. We stayed at the Sleep Inn Maingate, 8536 W. Irlo Bronson, which was VERY clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would highly recommend it.
