Is Olaf on the Fantasy or Dream?

We were on Fantasy in June. Not an advertised thing but Olaf did show up on Castaway Cay. Nobody knew he would be there so no line!

we did cruises just recently on the Wonder and the Dream, B2B, he was on the wonder, but not the dream

He wasn't on the Dream in August at the meet and greet- just the princesses, but saw him on Castaway. Didn't get to "meet" him though, lost my camera and was looking for it. BUT, going next month and definitely wanting to see him. :)

I was on the Fantasy last week and he was not there (met Elsa and Anna). He was on Castaway Cay though and there was no line. His photo location was by Summertime Freeze (over in the sand).

I should mention that his appearance wasn't listed in the Navigator. I just happened to be walking with my daughter in the stroller (trying to get her to nap, but she refused, yay) and he passed us. I asked "will you take pictures" and he nodded. This was around 10:00 - 10:30am. I was so excited to see him!

He wasnt on the Fantasy on the Sept 3rd cruise during Ana and Elsa m&g but was on CC. He was on the Magic during Ana and Else M&G though

The only character my teen boys want to meet is Olaf! Seriously! So I booked the Frozen M&G for the four of us -- but I know they will make a u-turn if it's only the sisters. Or perhaps I can convince them to be my photographer.

I did book it for our at sea day, so if we run into him on CC, I can cancel.

Total newbie here. Are the M&Gs on DCL the same as the ones on WDW or are the characters in special outfits? For example, the ones I saw at AUL were wearing Hawaiian outfits.

As far as I know, the characters at the ticketed Meet & Greets wear their "regular" outfits (whatever they may be).

(AUL means Aulani?)

Yes. Not sure if that's the standard here, but that's what I saw at one of the DVC brokers. As for the M&Gs, I supposed there will still be lines even with signups.

Well, for the ticketed events, only those with tickets are in line. Anyone who doesn't have a ticket can't line up.

There are certainly special outfit characters. Pirate Night, Formal night are two main examples. They may also be in beach gear at Castaway Cay or cruise attire if they do any meet and greets the first day. We have sailor Chip n Dale.

That's good to know. Thanks.
