Is Olaf in the parks?

My girls would like to get a photo with Olaf but aren't all that interested in A&E.

No. There's no Olaf character to meet. There is an audio animatronic Olaf on the roof of the A&E meet and greet building, and he's fun to check out, but you can't "meet" him because of where he is.

There is an animatronic Olaf on top of the building where A/E meet. But he is not out for meeting in the parks.

When we were there last month the Photopass photographers were doing an Olaf "magic shot" right by the Sword and the Stone in Fantasyland.

We were there last week and made the mistake before our trip showing DS6 a video of Olaf on the roof in Fantasyland. He LOVES Olaf. Well, when we went to check him out in person, he was broken. Just sat there staring, no talking, moving etc. CM's said he was daydreaming. DS6 was crushed. Hopefully he is fixed by now.

Does anyone have any idea as to why there's no Olaf meet & greet? I mean he's SO popular...maybe that's why? Maybe they're afraid he'd get trampled

Maybe it's also that it would be difficult to make a convincing snowman costume that didn't look stupid...the stick legs, his small size, etc.

Either way, I'm excited to see the animatronic Olaf! He wasn't there last time I was in DL
