Just curious as this is on our list of restuarants we were wanting to dine at and from what I have been hearing from others it may not happen. I would like to have an alternative so I am looking for any suggestions. We are already planning Kona, Tutto Italia, Cape May Clam Bake, Akershus & Tusker House. Thanks!!

Hi,
We went over Halloween in 2008. I tried for 2 months to get Ohana for dinner & it never happened. We did go for breakfast though & it was excellent! I would imagine you can probably get in if you call as soon as you are allowed. I think I just waited too long, even though 2 months isn't exactly waiting until the last minute.:goodvibes Good luck!

1900 Park Fare is very nice for dinner. We went and enjoyed it and Cinderella is there! We are thinking of trying it for breakfast on the next trip. Some people love Whispering Canyon Cafe, which is pretty close to Magic Kingdom too (just take a boat to the Wilderness Lodge). We haven't eaten there but we want to try it on our next trip and try the all-you-can-eat skillet they serve. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner there. They also entertain you and can be very funny there from what I hear, which is one of the reasons we would like to go there.

We went to Ohana in Oct for dinner and loved it. The kids really loved it! I had no problem getteing an ADR, but called on the first date allowed. I also went to Tutto Italia, and would not go back. What you are served for the prices you pay were so far out, even for disney standards.

yes, it is hard to get an ADR if you wait until the last minute. This was the only ADR I booked 40 days in advance and didn't alter it in any way. In fact I know I asked for 4 but when checking in last week, the hostess stated it was for 6. I told her I don't know who told her that since we are a party of 4. She said it was no problem and we were seated w/in 15 minutes.
I'm thinking the person handling my call mis booked but I am glad we got in. I tried all last week to get another night at Ohana's and was unsuccessful. This was our first time at Ohana's and it was our favorite. Sat looking out to the MK castle at dusk. It was very special as it was also our 13th wedding anniversary.

We decided at 70 days out that Ohana dinner would be fun and when we called we found out it is booked for the whole week we are there unless we would like to eat dinner at 9pm. If you want Ohana call at 90 days.

Today was my 90 day mark and I was on the phone at 7 a.m. I was able to get an ADR at 'Ohana for dinner on the night I wanted.

Are you inside your 90 day window and that's why you think you will have problems?

I was able to get it on our 90-day mark. Then we started looking at changing things around schedule-wise, and I called to see about switching it to another night - no dice. Nothing available the rest of the week before 8:30/9 PM. I feel VERY lucky to have gotten it in the first place!
