Is Oga's going to be scaled back?

We currently have a dinner reservation for Oga's Cantina in late February. I have been playing around with my reservation times, trying to get a somewhat earlier reservation so that we can comfortably have time to do both Oga's and the projection show. I just got on MDE and tried to look for times for my DHS date and noticed that it is only allowing lunch reservations with the last reservation time being 3:55. Is Oga's being scaled back? If so, will Disney notify me? It is not the end of the world as we have been there several times, but I do find it odd that they have no later times available during the evening. Any help would be appreciated.

They still list both lunch and dinner hours on the site. I'm not that surprised that evening times go first; I'd imagine more people would rather have a cocktail in the evening than in the middle of the day.

no. it's just extremely popular at all times of the day. It's actually unusual that you were able to find any sort of reservation time

Not sure what you mean by scaled back.

Oga's is a bar.

They serve beverages with or without alcohol - in fun and/or interesting ways.

They also have 2 snacks in their menu.

The lower-priced item is fun in it's presentation; the higher-priced item is a meat/cheese board.

You will be limited in the amount of time you can stay.

Your 'seats' may be a shared-table with no chairs.

It's certainly a uniquely Disney experience.

It's also a 'one-and-done' kinda' place for many families.

Just making sure you understand, that you don't have dinner at Oga's? They only have a couple of snacks, nothing to make a meal out of.

I believe they are saying that Oga's reservations are usually made for either lunch or dinner times, but there were no dinner reservations available when they went to change their time, so they thought the place might be closing or had reduced hours after "lunch" hour. Within 60 days it's not that easy to find an Oga's reservation at any time of day.

On certain days I believe they are also holding reservations in order to have some available for patrons of the Galactic Starcruiser, but based on the Starcruiser's Batuu visit schedule, those will be "lunch" reservations.

it is also true that Oga's is not a restaurant, and the designations "lunch" and "dinner" refer to the time of day. Oga's does not serve full meals at any time, only a few snacks.

Does Oga's serve regular pop? (Like Sprite?) We will be there with our two young kids, who are huge Star Wars fans. One of them, though, is allergic to artificial food coloring, so he can't have any of the drinks made with powerade, grenadine, etc.

Thanks!

Just wanted to say our DS is also sensitive to food dye, especially red 40. He’s a trooper at WDW, even with so many things he can’t have. The blue/green milks in SWGE had natural dyes before the shut down. Not sure if that’s changed, we were just happy to find something fun he could have. I hope you find delicious things for your kiddos as well. Have a great trip!
