Is my old paper ticket valid?

So I have an old one-day-one-park ticket leftover from a business trip a couple of years ago. I'm heading down to meet a friend for a quick weekend trip, and I'd like to see if the ticket is still valid.

Can the resort concierge do this for me? And switch it over to the now-required-RFID ticket? Or do I need to take it to Guest Relations/Services?

Try the concierge.

If there's a problem, head to plan B.

And, yes, trade-in for plastic RFID is thing to do.

Assuming it is unused, it should still be valid. It will need to be converted to RFID since all turnstiles use the new technology.

Do the park gate machines still read the magnetic strip tickets or you absolutely need it converted to an RFID card? I assumed the Tyvek tickets with the mag strip are still ok but i may be assuming wrong. Thanks.

2- you absolutely need it converted to an RFID card?

3- I assumed the Tyvek tickets with the mag strip are still ok but i may be assuming wrong. Thanks.

4- I made this assumption in another thread which i will fix if i am wrong.

1- Nope.

2- You can enter the gates WITHOUT SPECIAL ASSISTANCE if you have an RFID ticket.

3- You will most likely be delayed (and delay those behind you.)
Sometimes, that delay can be very substantial.

4- Start fixin' ;)

Duh! Ok i will have to find all of the tickets i have and get them converted over.....and i did fix the post. Thanks again guys, it is appreciated.
