Is my contract stuck in limbo?

I'm selling a contract with the site sponsor and wondering when I should follow up on the contract. From what I'm seeing, people will sign the contract within a day or two of it being sent and then it's off to ROFR. Is this standard? I signed the contract the day I got it 9/29, and it still has not been sent to ROFR. I'm not sure what the hold up is since the agent said the buyer wired the funds. Does this mean they have not signed the contract? What's a realistic time for these things to be completed?

ROFR takes 3-4 weeks then there is more paperwork and then it closes. I just finished buying and the process was about 2 months from offer to close.

Yea I was just hoping I wouldn't have to wait a week before it even gets sent to ROFR. I'm wondering now if the buyer wants to back out.

Is the buyer in the US? Does the buyer require a notary? And if the buyer requires financing that takes time, too.

As a buyer that recently just bought two contracts and one place sent it to to ROTR pronto - and the other place took like 4-5 days. I know when i got the email saying it was sent to ROTR I was annoyed because I was like huh - I assumed it was sent 5 days ago ... because the first company sent it pronto. Also That was probably like 5 days over a weekend, I was just feeling very impatient.

They are in the US. I think only the closing documents need a notary not the contract that gets sent to ROFR?

Alright so maybe I’m being impatient then lol. It’s hard since there’s so much data out there about peoples experiences and it’s easy to compare. I’ve been checking the app they have all the time to see if it’s been sent to ROFR yet. I just hope they didn’t forget about me.

Doesn't hurt to ask the agent what the hold up is, my seller wasnt signing once and he said he didnt even know he was supposed to sign something, that it went to spam
