Is my Be our Guest Fast Pass Valid?

Hi,

I have read on this website and many others about the beourguest.disney (or something like that) website where you can go and book a fast pass for lunch. It did work for me but what I wasn't sure about was the fact that it doesn't show up anywhere on the MDE website.

So I called Disney about it and the cast member I spoke to said it was by invitation only. I told her I seemed to have booked one and is it valid and she never really answered me. She just said it saves you a spot during that time period which isn't very necessary because the wait is only about 10 minutes for lunch. Well I've never heard that before.

Has anyone booked on that website without an invitation and then used their fast pass already. Did you have any problems?

I booked one in early May without an invite and was able to use it with no problem. It even disappeared off the Be Our Guest site about a week before my trip, so I was really worried. But they still had me in the computer. If you haven't already, try to go back to the BoG site and print a confirmation.
 
I made a FP and used it without any problem without an invitation.

The BOG website and MDE are not connected, so,you will not see it there. You also do not get a confirmation number when you book or a confirmation email. I took a screenshot of the confirmation page but I did not need to show it.
 
I made my FP with no invitation and used it a few weeks ago with no problem. We got to the kiosk 5 minutes before the window and were whisked into the restaurant - it was great!

And a 10 minute wait for those in line? I don't think so. :sad2:
 

I was going to just wait and hope for an invitation, but finally decided I may as well make a FP for it. If it doesn't work for some reason, then I just have to stand in line like I would have anyway. So it seems worth a try. I printed the screen shot of the confirmation. I'm 29 days out and still hoping an official invitation arrives. If so, I'll print that out too.

(Don't you love all the paper this "paperless" system uses!) ;)
 
I had no trouble using a FP without invitation. I never received an invite. You can preorder your food too.
 
Yes we had fp with no invite 2 weeks ago with no problems getting in. The queue was huge and it was torrential rain so it was great.
 
We booked not invite with no issue. I would suggest if you are anxious about it. Take a screenshot and save it on your phone, so if there is an issue, you can show them.
 
I also booked without an invite for 4/29/14. No problem at all. 5 min wait inside while standby was lined back to FP entrance.
 
Ok, I feel better now. I did print out the confirmation. I thought I saw somewhere that they were turning people away without any invite. I don't know why they have a website accessible to anyone on the internet if you're only supposed to use it with an invitation. :confused3

I did as the above posters with no issues--no invite, went to the website, made the fastpass and took a screen shot, which we never needed. Checked in at booth and we went right into the castle, waiting maybe 5 minutes to order our food. The line for standby was crazy long, and with my kiddos, we would never have even attempted a standby wait. Waited at our table about 10 minutes for our food. We ate there on May 4th. Vegetable quiche was delish! Enkoy!

They've been saying that since the first person called about it. But countless people have had FP+s work just fine without ever getting an invitation.
 
When you book through the website, does it give you a comfirmation #? I just booked it for our trip in 3 weeks, the screen said congratulations, but no comfirmation # at all. I did take a screen shot, but I don't feel very confident about the whole thing! We've already eaten dinner and lunch at Be Our Guest, so if it doesn't work out, it's not a big deal.
 
I wish people would stop calling about the fast pass They are going to say the same thing "invitation only". However, we all know that's not true. I'm saying this with peace and love. Please stop calling !!!

I've been following this subject for months and the only people who say its invitation only are uninformed CM's and travel agents who want to tell their clients that they can get them a "special" fast pass not available to anyone else.

No they didn't give a confirmation number at all. Nor is it in your MDE summary. I also just printed the confirmation. (I have a dumb phone :rolleyes:) I didn't mean to stir them up by calling but I hated to get there with my girls and get turned away. I haven't been there before but it seems like there is a check in area before you walk up to the castle?

She gave me the website address, and said I can reserve the fastpass at my 60 day mark. She told me they are testing it and letting resort guests have the fastpasses.
 
Good to know - I haven't received an invite, but utilized the website to book and pre-order. I will print my confirmation and have ready for my 6/2 reservation.
 
Has anyone been able to reserve a fastpass earlier than 60 days out? Just want to make sure-I don't want to miss out on getting one. (When I go to the website it won't even let me try to login. Hopefully that is because my 60 day mark is not here yet-but I'm trying to figure out how it knows that if I can't login...)

Thank you. That is super helpful. We are staying at a Disney resort. It's hard when you are on the phone and you don't think you are getting the right info. Like the lady telling me there are no long waits for lunch there. You just want to say..."are you sure?"
