Is MVMCP worth the extra $$

This will be my first time I have been Halloween but all the other "specials"I have been to at WDW and DLP they have always been worth it.
Hope I wont be dissapointed this time.

Yes its worth it, at least the first time. The next time I went it kind of lost the magic and seemed like just another night. But that first time, I loved it.

Is MVMCP worth the extra money?

I don't this party is really worth the extra money.

If you say no, why not?
There isn't enough to make the party special. Yes there are fireworks and a parade, but compared to the other parties and from attending this last year, I wish I didn't get much out of it.

Are the rides open during this time or do you just walk around?
Yes most rides are open during this time. It's a great way to get in most of the attractions in one day.

Would my 7 year old son enjoy this?
There's free hot cholcate and cookies. There is meeting Santa. Mickey tells the story of the Night Before Christmas which seems enjoyable to kids.

We have been to MVMCP each year since 1991 and love it.We love the Christmas Parade, snow on Main Street, the live shows makes a great holiday evening for us.Do not go to MVMCP if you are mainly interested in doing the attractions you can do these during normal operational hours without spending the extra dollars.Going Dec 9th this year:goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

I will tell you that I LOVE Disney World and I kind of feel bad saying that it wasn't worth the money but... the whole thing was very crowded, it was hard to find the free cookies and cocoa, AND the most dissapointing part was that there are certain special holiday shows you can see when you go but we were turned away each time we tried to see them because they were filled to capacity. A lot of that had to do with the fact that they let people (a lot of them) in without wrist bands (who had not paid). The parade was okay and the fireworks were gorgeous but I do not think we will pay to go again. I think they should definitely hold more showings of the special holiday shows as well. -Just my opinion. If you can afford to go and don't mind all those little things the fireworks alone are spectacular and the snow on mainstreet is so fun for kids. How often does it snow in Orlando???:dance3:
