Is MVMCP worth going to twice?

I have never been to MVMCP and I was wondering if its worth going twice in a 8 day trip? Or should once be okay? I just like the idea of it and not having to deal with too many people during the day.

I don't think so. You could probably do everything in just the one night. Plus, a lot of the stuff in mvmcp is also shown during the regular park day if your there in mid to late december.

We like MVMCP, but, IMHO, once should be fine.

I also have to say that going once would be enough. It is not worth the money on the second night (unless you have lots to blow, then you can always do it & have fun)

DH wants me to add, go see the shows, get a cherry spot for the special Wishes & hie your fanny over to the 'sweet spot' for the parade.

Wear a Christmas hat or holiday themed sweatshirts/tee shirts

Get in line for the special 'free' family photo indulge in the shovel-free snow showers. DH points out if you don't make a point of seeing/doing the 'special' shows/activities then you're simply paying for EMH, in his most humble opinion.

We will be staying to close out the place on the 13th, as by that time the rides & photo ops will be walk ons

The MVMCP was much more crowded that the MK was during that day! Only do it once.

Okay... I'll disagree My DD8 and I went 2x last December and would do it again in a heartbeat, but it really depends on what you are going for. Our favorite things were the shows, special parade, fireworks, cookies and hot chocolate and atmosphere. If you are looking for low crowds... forget it. If I had a big family to buy tickets for... yikes that would be very expensive. But, if you can afford it then it is great. It was nice not to have the pressure to see everything the first night because we knew that we were going again. Also, it can rain and really put a damper on the night so it was nice to have built in insurance/assurance that we would get to see everything. It is such a special night to only get to do it once in our humble opinion and we love Christmas time
