My son is going to be 5 and I thought it might be nice to go just the 2 of us. Do you think 5 years old is old enough to enjoy the party? Can anyone tell me what its like? Also what time do they usually start?

Thanks for any info. we leave in 2 weeks for our next trip!

I think 5 is definitely old enough to enjoy MNSSHP! Is it worth the price? I think so but it depends on how you feel about Halloween. I love Halloween and I hate the scary/gory stuff so Disney does a great job of playing up the simple ghosts, cats, pumpkins, costumes, and candy part of Halloween.

What I like about MNSSHP over MVMCP is that everything is decorated for christmas - I mean everything. While only MK is decorated for fall and when the party starts MK tranksforms.... green and purple accent lighting, trick-or-treating stations, everyone can dress up (only time adults are allowed to), the headless horseman leads the special parade, and HalloWishes fireworks!

C'mon, how many kids get to say they trick-or-treated at MK?

She will love it! It is worth more to us than MVMCP, we loved it and cannot wait to go again!

We just attended our first MNSSHP and really enjoyed it! We have a soon to be 5yr old, and he really enjoyed the parade and candy! We were there at Christmas and he did not enjoy himself - our only thought is that it was just so crowded he was overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle. The MNSSHP was very uncrowded and he was able to take things in and ride things w/o having to wait. We didn't arrive until 6:30 due to dinner reservations, but we could have gotten in the park at 4:30. I think next time we will spend the day resting, and then head in at 4:30 to take in some things that are closed during the party. I'm doing my best to convince DH that we should go back next yr!!

It is so much fun! It is the biggest reason we are going again in October. The dance parties, the parade, the villain show, the trick or treating, and if you want, Dumbo with no line!! That was my 2 year old's favorite part!!

I thought we would come back to the hotel around 10:30. We stayed until midnight!! (Of course, my little one was asleep in the stroller.) I think it starts at 7:00, but you can get into MK beginning at 4:00, I think. I know we had our picture taken with Cinderella's carriage before the official opening.

Have fun!

Yes, this is my question. my ticket says form 7:00- 12:00. Other people have said that they let you in at 4:00. Will I have to use a park day if i go at 4:00?
Thanks!

Thanks!! I think we will give it a shot! I know he will love it! I just hope he can stay up that late!

Oh yeah, do they take Photopass pictures? Do the adults get dressed up too?

Buzzlove, We have annual passes, so I don't know the answer to your question!

You should have no issue getting in a 4pm, but things might have changed. I would say that you can...
