I have 3 oppourtuntites on my trip to go. I could either go Oct 2, 5, or 6th. I am trying to decide if it is worth the extra money or not. I didn't think so at first as I thought the rides were not open...but I have read several posts and seen a lot of pictures...and found out the rides WERE open so it's sounding more and more fun. This is our first trip - my children are 8 years apart. So I'm asking those who have attended, and those who HAVE NOT attended - do y'all think it's worth it?

We got to ride Splash Mountain three times in a row last year without getting off - there were no lines. We had more candy than we could eat in a week - hope the maid liked it... It was the highlight of my son's trip.

To cut down on expense, try relaxing by the pool during the day or visiting DTD. That way you don't use a park day. There is no additional admission required other than your MNSSHP ticket.

It was a ton of fun....free candy, great decorations and short lines on the rides. The parade and fireworks were cool too, really got you in a holiday mood. Have fun!

I second the idea of relaxing by the pool during the day and not using up a park ticket.
