Is MNSSHP for us?

We don't care for parades, or for the whole dressing up/trick-or-treating thing. However, we'd love to meet and greet with villains. Would MNSSHP be worth it for us if that's all we want to do? Or will they have more villains around the park we could meet and greet with during normal hours? :confused3

There will be more villains at MNSSHP than available during normal park hours.

Keep in mind that this year, the prime villain m/g was a premium party within the party.

I enjoyed MNSSHP but then again, part of my joy was in getting to dress up, seeing the parade, etc. It was VERY crowded (I think all of the special ticket parties are these days!) and for the members of my party not as into Halloween as I am, it was not their favorite thing! Even I would have a hard time going back with the premium party thing going on now!

On the flip side, Mickey's Halloween Party at DL was super fun for ALL of us - and there were quite a few villains to meet, even during the daytime back in the conjure a villain tent - which is my favorite thing ever. If you've ever considered a DL trip instead of WDW, I highly recommend a visit during Halloween Time!

If you want to ride lots of rides with little/no wait, then you will enjoy it. Especially during the parade and Hallowishes. Last year, 7dmt was a walk on during the fireworks.

they do have a villain dance party you can watch ..Its a fun time as well even if you dont want to dress up or see the parade, like others have said the lines are short and if you want to meet villains this is you best shot,

Thanks everyone!! I think we will wait and see what "special" villian events are being offered this year, and then base our decision on that! When do tickets typically go onsale? We'd be going in September…

We enjoyed it but we love trick or treating and dressing up. Most characters are easy to see but the wait for some can be long. Especially the Seven Dwarfs. The short ride lines are a plus.

Nope unless you did the soirée which is pretty much the only way to meet the villians outside of The Old Hag and Jafar.

The Soiree has:

Cruella de vile
Snow White
Doctor Faciller
maleficent
Captain Hook
Queen of Hearts
Step Mother and the two sisters
lord frollo

Now to see them you have to purchase a Halloween Party ticket AND a soiree ticket which will cost you up to 200 per person for both roughly.

So those are your options. I don't understand why you'd want to waste the money for character photos of your not going t to partake in the awesome Halloween parade and costumes but to each their own
