Is MNSSHP for us?

I am thinking of planning a "quick" trip down to WDW and UO this fall. We went for 9 days in August 2005, so this would be a "greatest hits" trip, plus a chance to do UO which we've never done. DS7's priorities would be 1) riding the mountains and Buzz lightyear over and over again one day, and 2) trying out EE, Primeval Whirl, and Dinosaur all of which we missed last year. I'd also love to fit in Mickey's Philharmagic and FOTLK since those were my 2 favorite attractions at WDW.

Anyway, what I was thinking was that we'd fly down the morning of the Friday before Columbus day, check in at a value resort and do MNSSHP that night (will we get a lot of "mountain" time that night?). Then do AK the next morning (Saturday). Then on Sunday we could get up early, go to a Universal on-site hotel and check in. We'd then have 1 day at each of IO and UO with FOTL priviledges.

Does this sound like a good plan? If our plan was to spend about 6 hours at M.K. on this trip, how would 1 evening of MNSSHP compare with 1 early morning in the park? Would that weekend be really crowded at A.K.?

Sounds like a good plan to me. The lines at MNSSHP were very short or mostly walk on when we went last year so you should get plenty of mountain time in! :thumbsup2 Remember that you can enter the MNSSHP around 4 pm so get there early if you can so you can fit more rides in. Have a great trip!
