Is MM worth it?

Hi All!

I'm wondering what people's thoughts are on purchasing a Memory Maker. I'm an adult (over 30) traveling with my adult friend (also over 30), her 16 yr old sister, and their mom. I don't think that they are really too interested in getting the MM. On my last trip 4 years ago (with the same friend and two other adults), I think I bought 2-3 photos (we didn't have many taken). I don't know if I plan to get a bunch of photos taken but it's always nice to a have a few since I'm usually behind the camera. I've read that it's still possible to still purchase single photos for $15. Does anyone know if the $15 is for a printed photo or a digital copy? I think I paid $5 per digital photo last time and got them printed through Shutterfly for very cheap.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

I took a solo trip last year and had the same internal debate and am very glad I got the package. As a solo I wouldn't have had any pictures with me in them and I love having those memories on film.

One of the reasons I debated it was I didn't think I'd take many pictures but because I had the package I stopped every time I saw a photographer without a long line and ended up with over a hundred pictures of me in the parks, a couple really fun magic shots, plus another 20-30 on-ride photos.

If you can convince your friends to take a bunch of pictures it may not be worth the cost but if you don't think they will it's absolutely worth it.

We had the exact same debate and against family's opinion I went ahead and purchased it and in hindsight we were all so glad we did.

We linked everyone to the account and if we split up for the day we all still had photos we could share. When we were together or on the rides everyone was in the photos...you will have those group pictures as memories for a long time.

It also does not take long for $15 a pop to add up to the price of MM. Either way...I hope you have a magical trip.

Thanks! I talked myself into it right after I posted my question. Thank you for backing up my decision!!

I think you'll love it! I got it for my parents, brother and I when we went back in May because my dad complains that, now my brother and I are getting older, we have so few family pictures. I figured it was the best way to get some of those with some great settings as well as give us the opportunity to collect the fun pictures from rides. All in all we ended up with 100+ pictures because we also stopped with pretty much every photographer we saw for a picture.
