Is MK on a Sunday a horrible idea???

We are headed down in May and my sons 4th bday is on the Sunday after Mothers day. we were going to do chef mickeys late breakfast followed by MK and some rides, and head out after the parade. Thoughts??

The crowds are large at MK on any day.

(And, they are large at the other parks on Sunday, too.)

Midday is the busiest time for any park on any day. It’s not a horrible idea. Just be ready for it.

I read that Sunday was the least crowded day at MK because that’s a common travel day, people coming and leaving the most on Sundays.

I don't think it's the least crowded of the week, but it is usually better than Saturday.

Sunday is my favorite day to do MK! We usually do EMM though.
A great breakfast at Chef Mickeys, use your fast passes, & then the parade... Sounds like a fun bday for your little guy!

Sunday mornings are MK are great. We've encountered low crowds on Sunday mornings many times. Usually when MK is open late the night before then Sunday morning will be very enjoyable. I would do the rides on Sunday morning then have your birthday meal later in the day, when it starts getting crowded.

We went ON Mother's Day Sunday a few years ago. It was our arrival day and we got there around Noon. We had Fastpasses and ADRs and had a wonderful day. Best Mother's Day I ever had.

There are actually different DAYS at WDW?? I count my days as MK Day, AK Day, HS Day, Epcot Day and repeat until it's time to go home. LOL!

ha ha, so true though. Although the only day i notice a difference is on Mondays. It truly is extra packed...they werent lying.

We almost always do MK on Sunday. We usually arrive on Saturday and start with MK the next day. I have always found it manageable. I have always heard Saturday and Monday are the worst and Wednesday and Friday can be busy due to EMH.
