I've never done P&PP but have done a few MNSSHP, MVMCP's, and one NoJ and MK seemed as crowded as normal during those time of years.
One perk about being there for those days is you get to hear all the non disney educated folk fuss about having to leave early while all these 'special people' get to stay! "I just can't beleive they are making me leave, i would not pay any extra money to stay here for the rest of the night, that is so stupid, they are ripping me off, " etc. Leaving MK before a MVMCP this past december was just a ball of laughs all the way back to the resort w/ those people on our bus.
I agree, crowds are the same. But they do a decent job of having regular guests leave the park, including checking bathrooms....watched some people dodge a CM last year. After 10 the crowds are nil and you can almost ride POTC alone, especially if you pick a Party in the middle of the week.
If you go to a MNSSHP then you want to be near the bridge at Liberty Square near the Christmas Shop at the beginning of parade. Headless Horseman always steals the show for me.
