Is MIB similar to Buzz?

Buzz is similar to MIB like Hotwheels are similar to a Hummer. Or a mouse ::MickeyMo is similar to a moose (Bullwinkle).

Wow. You'd think they would at least put the effort into coming up with new material. Not that this specific line was any good to begin with.

Yikes, as the OP, I have to say that this offends me.....a little, LOL.

I like both rides but agree with Damo that Buzz is more child oriented. Both are very similar.

We are a family that loves the Buzz ride, always our first stop at the MK. We don't bother with the rankings board at the end, just play against each other. Other than the fact that you shoot at things, I don't really think MIB is too similar.

MIB is a lot of fun, the aliens and effects are very cool. Also, I love the fact that the lasers aren't fixed to the car and that the aliens have a reaction when you hit them. It's fun to play against another team too.

That said, it is MUCH more intense than Buzz as far as the spinning, flashing lights, noise etc. After 3 rides in a row (love FOTL!) my 6 year old promptly threw up. He now calls it MIB - Mouth In Bucket! :rotfl: Ever the trooper, he went back on it the next day, just once though. My 9 and 4 year olds rode it several times both days we were there without problem. As always, depends on the kid. Have fun!

I have never been on Buzz. I love the MIB ride. With FOTL we often ride at least 3 times in a row. That being said, I don't like the spinning. I don't see a reason for it. Whenever I am spinning on that ride, I think--why do they feel the the need to do this on such a great ride. I wish there was an option to turn off the spin like there is on Cat in the Hat. (I understand those rides have the same layout--but that's another thread.)

I don't mind the spinning when it is just one spin. The spins at the end get me and the added warm mist doesn't help. I need my dramimine to be able to ride it several times in a row.
