Is Merdians bar open on the Dream?

Can anyone confirm that Meridians bar is open on the Dream?

Also interested in this-only Happy Hour I saw on one day's schedule posted on instagram mentioned Pink and Pub 687 at 9-and added Skyline was open only for tasting groups. I guess they want everyone in shortly after 9!

Also interested - going thru Meridian is the only way to get to the smoking/cigar area.

On the 8/9 sailing. The area was open and there were people in it. I can't remember if there was a bartender though.

The latest Jojo vlog showed Meridian being open with a few bartenders along with the private little deck area. Looks very nice and relaxing!

Yes! Luis, Kelvin, and Miguel were a great team up there. Unfortunately on the last night they closed the bar at 11:00 (we showed up just after) so we just missed getting 1 last drink with them.

They had happy hour at the Cove Bar, I want to say 7:00-9:00 but I'm not 100% sure on that. We never made it during that time.

I've never taken the time to enjoy happy hour, and I'm not one to drink unless on a cruise or very special occasions. What's the 'deal' during happy hour?

Love Meridian... really one of my absolute favorite places on the ships. Perfect cocktails and knowledgable bartenders-- it's like having a semi-private, and at times, when it's empty, private tasting. Last time we were on the Dream we did an impromptu Bourbon tasting. I can't say I remember it too well but I know we had fun!

Did I read there is a dress code if inside Meridian? What a bout outside? Do you get your drink inside then go out to drink/smoke cigar?

I was there last weekend for a couple of nights of cigar time. I was casually dressed. You can order a drink inside but they also come outside and take your order if you want. It is an excellent place to enjoy a cigar.

Yeah, I wanted to go there when DS was in the kids club, but I wasn't sure if I needed to be Palo-appropriate to go in. I really liked it in 2019. Hopefully, next time!

This may be my wife's and my new favorite spot on the ship! We were dressed up after Palo one day while in there and saw others come in more casually dressed, so I asked the bartender if they minded...he said come however your're comfortable! So we went back the next night much more casual and sat out outside and enjoyed the fireworks from there. Bartenders were incredible. Drinks were great. Atmosphere was even better!

I was in Meridian on my December Dream cruise. Me and my son in law sat outside. They seem to have the best selection on the ship.
