Is MB still available at BCV?

if so, what are your thoughts? I know you can get in at $74/pt if you buy at least 100 and need to give back your points for one year. Our use year is August. Does mean, for instance, if we purchase 100 additional BCV pts, that for the 2002 use year we cannot use t hem, but beginning 8/03 they will be available to us to use?

Yes, Magical Beginnings is still available. I'm in the processing of purchasing right now, and am using MB.

The way it was explained to me is you essentially forfeit your first year of points and Disney will reimburse you $10 per point. This reimbursement is used to help with the down payment. You still must place 10% down of your own money, excluding MB.

If you were to purchase a December use year, then your contract would be back dated to December 2002. You would not have any points to use this year (unless you borrowed from the next year). Your yearly supply of points would be replenished on Dec. 1, 2003. So, you could book a vacation for an arrival on Dec. 1, 2003 if you'd like, while still getting all the benefits of MB!

I have an August use year also at BCV. Yes, we got the points as of August, 2003. However, I could make ressies at BCV at the 11 month window now for dates after August. That was something I didn't know for sure until I asked my guide. And from the time I called him and said "Glenn, I want to buy more points" it was the next morning I could call and make 11 month BCV ressies. This was before signing anything or giving DVC any money(although they'd already sold me 175 VWL points). I thought that was great!

Thanks for your help. I called my guide today after we just returned from our 2nd bcv trip last week. After our first trip in Dec we came home and added onto our points. Now again we return and I an thinking "more points." We just love the villas and I can see how people say it's addicting, be careful!! Well, now I have to talk my husband into doing this add on of 100 points to make our total 350. I think we will have to stop there!
