Is May a good time to go?

How is the weather in May? How are then lines that month? Are they fairly short or really long? Is that a good time to go with less of a crowd? Or is May usually packed like June & July?

Generally, the 2nd week of May up until the Labor Day weekend has lower crowd levels (certainly MUCH lower than in June & July).

Weather is starting to get hot and humid (but, again, nicer than in the summer time).

For weather, I use www.wunderground.com then click on trip planner, you will then enter your city and date, it will give you the average temp day/night.

For crowds, I use www.touringplans.com then clik on crowd calendar.

We were there last May from 1-10. We thought it was a great time too go. There were crowds but it wasn't overwhelming. The weather was beautiful, in the high 80's mostly. At least at that time of the month. I really am not sure what the rest of the month is like. However, you have to take into concideration the F&G Festival. But it's still not as bad as June and July. We'll be there this June for 10 days. We can't wait.

this will be the 2nd year in a row we go in May because last year when we went it was perfect. The longest lines we encountered were about an hour at Splash Mountain and TMRR. The weather was warm but not unbearable and it didn't rain!

We went last year from May 9-13 and had a wonderful time. The parks were not crowded and the weather was perfect (mid 80's and never rained a drop).
We didn't have to stand in long lines and the pool (WL) was never crowded. We loved it so much that I am going for a short trip May 1-3 and then a bit longer, May 14-19. We are hoping that this year will be similar.
