Is Matterhorn still really rough?

I can't even say Matterhorn and Expedtion Everst in the same sentence! No way to even compare those. One is amazing, the other is a rattle trap.

Matterhorn is unpleasantly jerky and I always skip it. Same for Indiana Jones. Maybe I'm just a cream puff

They have added a lot of extra padding to the seats over the previous refurbishments.

It's still too bumpy.
