Is Massachusetts Disney north?

I love spring, summer & fall here in Massachusetts, but absolutely HATE the winters. I'm already trying to convince my DH that when we retire(20+ years away)that I want to stay in FL for the winter months. By then he ought to be really sick and tired of my complaining about winters here in Massachusetts!

So many people say that to me, but I also have a few that agree, LOL! To me its dark, gloomy, cold, raw, and its depressing because everything is dying. Plus Im sure the fact that fall means my favorite season is ending and my most hated season is coming up, helps to depress me more.

LOL, I just thought of something...we arent even into winter yet!

I used to say I would move to FL when my parents were gone and nothing was keeping me here. Well that has happened but now I want my kids to be able to finish high school here. So I guess I'm stuck in boring old Massachusetts for another 6 years.

OK I live in Northeastern CT, but work in MA. I don't really want to go as far south as FL, but DH has always said he wanted to drive buses at WDW after he retires from teaching HS. Maybe we'll compromise and just do FL for the winter months.

And then there's always Florida MA on route 2 just outside of N Adams in the Berkshires. I'll get to drive thru on Friday when I pick up my DD20 from MCLA. Wanna bet the snow is deep there?
