Is Mac & Cheese the same?

Does Disney use the same recipe thoughout WDW for its Macaroni & Cheese? Is it the same at MGM as in Epcot? Or does it vary from resort to resort and park to park?

I saw it on the Food Network's "WDW Unwrapped" and it looked SOOOOO good!

No, it does vary from place to place. My chidlren had pretty good m&c at out hotel food court (Port Orleans), and then when we got to Chef Mickey's, I had told my 5 yo son he would get Mickey macaroni. It looked great, but he immediately pronounced it 'thumbs down'. I tasted it, and he was right! Overcooked, underseasoned, etc.

Different dishes at different restauranats, even at WDW!

Veyr much different depending on where you get it. We ate at the Chef's Table at V&A on Easter Sunday.

Hey there Mister Disney....I've seen on the Food Network that the Mickey Mac and Cheese at WCC is suppose to be the absolute best. I haven't been yet, but have a PS for our week in June...same week as you...My Dniece and sister tell me it is awesome there! I am a total fan of "pasta con queso" as I call it when I make a meal on the stuff which isn't often now that the doc put me on a 12 carb/day diet...diabetic, but believe me I'm gonna try some on the next trip.

Hehe, that would be a really delicious filet mignon, not just any "big hunk of meat." And, yes, the macaroni and cheese is very good. It's regular macaroni noodles and white cheese. I'm not sure what kind, but it tastes milder than cheddar. Maybe fontina? Maybe a blend? I don't know; it's yummy!

So when I'm at WDW the first week of June and I see this guy with a big mustachce who is BLUE in the face, wearing lime green and red I will have to run amuck screaming...."It's the famous Mister Disney!!!!"
