Is last MVMCP traditonally very crowded?

Just wondering if the last MVMCP of the year (this year Dec 20) is typically very crowded, or about the same as other dates. We will be at WDW from 12/19 to 12/26, so can only go on that date, and I don't know if it will be crazy or not. I am going to wait until we arrive to get tix. Will the CM at Guest Relations at my resort be able to tell me how close to sold out they are? Also does anyone know what the maximum number of tickets sold is? We went to MVMCP in 2001 and it was awesome, but it was in early December, and there were very small crowds. TIA.

I think I've read on the MVMCP threads in the past that the last MVMCP of the year is typically sold out, well in advance I might add.

We're going the 18th and are expecting pretty big crowds, since it's the second-to-last one.

Last MVMCP is crowded,you will still have a great time.

I was at the last MVMCP in 2003 and 2004 - both were sold out and it is still very manageable. I would suggest you purchase your tickets before your trip - more than likely they will be sold out.

We are attending on the 18th this year and we are anticipating that it will be sold out as well. We still look forward to this each year. It has become a new tradition for our family.

If I remember correctly, the last MVMCP has traditionally been on a Friday night. The last two days of MVMCP this year are later than normal. We'll be there the last day, too, as it fit in best with our schedule. I'm hoping that since it's during the week it won't be as bad.

Have any of the MVMCP sold out yet? We bought our tickets months ago, because lots of people on the Dis said that the later dates sold out. I wonder if adding the later dates kept the party from selling out? Skuttle we leave the day before you guys and are staying at the VWL, maybe we will see each other. Are ya'll flying or driving? This is our first trip to fly out of BR (normally we fly out of New Orleans), it sure will be nice not having to get up so early to drive to New Orleans!

Same here...for our trip we arrive on 12/18 so we had two dates to pick from and we thought it'd be better to not go on our arrival day...hate for something to delay our arrival and miss the whole thing. We also thought the Tuesday might not be as crowded as the Sunday date.

Well, maybe we'll see ya there...I'll be wearing my lime green CROCS that night for sure and some kind of a Christmas tshirt...with a sweatshirt in case it's really cold.
