Ok, now that I'm over as I can be about the alcoholic beverage policy cause there's nothing I can do about it! I'm back to trying to decide what to do when we are in Nassau in November with such short port times, 7 to noon! I see where there are safety issues with nassau but is it really totally unsafe ? We were thinking if we can't get the Seaworld Explorer Semi-sub tour booked we might just go ashore and do a carriage ride for our girls and maybe stop at Junkanoo Beach for a bit or walk around before boarding again. But I don't want to feel completely unsafe with our kids! I mean we have done mexico on our own- a little! Any other suggestions for something quick and easy and not to expensive with 6 an 9 yr old girls?

IMG_0734.JPG IMG_0739.JPG IMG_0741.JPG Our family accidently walked to Junkanoo as we were meandering over to the Pirate Museum (which was fun). We spent about an hour there. We were only moderately harassed by vendors. We weren't planning on going there, but wished we'd brought bathing suits and towels. I could imagine spending a few hours there (2-3). Bring some small bills to rent a chair or an umbrella if you want.

Once I added the pictures, I couldn't edit the formatting of the text. Sorry for the weirdness of this post.

We did the Pirate Museum, and it wasn't all glorified pirates. It was semi educational, but pretty fun. It's not WDW, but it's better than your local history museum, IMO.
