Is Jungle cruise worth it?

I think so! I would do it in the day and at night if you can. At night, the atmosphere becomes a BIT more believable, and we find the skippers...take a little more comedic freedom, if you get my drift...at night. We did the Jingle Cruise version on NYE and the skipper had us in tears by the end! Nothing obscene or such but very, very funny! Being in AK should have no bearing on doing the Jungle Cruise as they aren't even remotely similar. AK is more educational, and MK is a corny joke fest that is so worth it to me! I would never miss it. You get to see the back side of water!! :rotfl:

I love the campiness! I always make it a point to ride the classics, not matter how many times I've ridden it in the past.

My favorite ride. It's a shame it'll be on refurb the entire length of my stay. It's totally my kind of humor.

I would not prioritize it very highly. When we went over Christmas, it was low on our list, but we were able to get it as an additional FP (either 5th or 6th of the day), so we went with no wait. I would not waste too much time waiting for it, but if you can fit it in, why not?

If you have ridden it at Disneyland is it worth the wait in line to do at MK?
WDW goes through a far-eastern temple (tunnel) that you don't get at DL. And the WDW queue doesn't meander aimlessly on rooftops.

It's definately worthwhile if you are comparing parks, and is one of the few duplicated rides that is considered a bit better at WDW

Our younger GrandGirl adores this ride and considers it high humor so we are required to ride it.

I neither like nor dislike it. The manner in which the puns are delivered reminds me of the old TV show Hee Haw.

I'm curious, the day before we're in MK, we'll be at AK with the real deal... is Jungle Cruise still worth trying to do?

I'd say yes it's worth it, but it does need to be re-imagineered to add just a touch of excitement. I believe they need to add a little white water with a small drop and a little splash here or there, i.e. African Queen, just to add a little interest.

If you've never ridden it then yes you should try it but I would not wait more than 15 minutes and would not waste a FP+ on it. It is better at night.

Like others have said, it's corny but really cute. My kids were hesitant to do it, but were so happy they did! It's good old fashioned fun :)

I LOVE Jungle Cruise! It's cheesy, corny and ridiculous, which is why I think it's great. If you're lucky, you'll get a CM who deviates from the script. Those times have been the most enjoyable for me.

I personally think it is worth it, but all rides come down to personal preference :)
