Is June typically a good time of year for codes?

No. June and July are very busy. Just a few years ago they added the new "summer season rates" just because of how busy they are. As an AP holder since 1995, you seldom see many AP discounts. When we have recently, they are generally only for delux resorts in the EPCOT area, or DVC resorts (SSR/OKW). Last year there were some AP discounts in July, none in June, at moderates. Values, nothing. We rarely go during these months anymore. We generally go in early May and late August because the discounts usually occur during those timesframes. However, with the economy worsening, history may change and you might see more discounts than in past years. I always suggest booking a room that you are prepared to pay full price for and if a discount comes out, save some money or upgrade.
