Is Jan or Feb the best time to visit?

The last time our family went to Disney World, we went the last week of Sept. We absolutely roasted! This time, we would like for the weather to be nice and cool and the lines short or, preferably, non-existant! Please advise on what time is the best to go....Jan or Feb and which week would be the best. I am thinking that this would be worth pulling my 6 year old out of school for! thanks for your advice!

i am sure hoping so. we leave in 11 days we are going jan26 to feb 3rd and hoping for warm weather, low crowds, and disney magic. i will let you know how it works out when we get back.

I pulled mine out of school for a week and would do it again. As long as you avoid holiday weeknds, the marathon, and mardi gras when it falls early you should be all right. The weather is pleasant and the crowds easy enough to navigate.
