Is it worth trying for ADRs two months out?

So last I saw, you were on hold. Don't keep us in suspense!! Did you get something?

Best of luck!!!

I think you will still be able to get some awesome meals! It's definitely worth trying for. I think buffets are typically bigger, so they should definitely have some spots for y'all! We are trying Ohana's this may, and I've heard the restaraunt is huge!! Good luck!!

I booked a trip last week for end of April and got ADRs for California Grill during Wishes and CRT (Dinner), so there's lots of opportunity out there.

it never hurts to try!! Good luck! and let us know what you get! The suspense is killing me:rotfl:

I just got off the phone with Disney Dining. :D

All I can say is... WOW!!! I'm so glad I gave it a try. You're not going to believe this, but I was able to get my first choice of restaurant, date, and time. Yes, you heard me. I got Le Ceilier on May 30th at dinnertime. Hahahahahaha! Victory dance! I think the CM was even more shocked than I was!

I was so surprised and pleased that I decided to press my luck and go for two more reservations that week. I asked for dinner at 'Ohana on June 1st, and dinner at Tony's on May 26th. I got both. :D I think I've used up my luck for the entire trip... LOL.

Awesome! I'm so glad you tried. It's been easy for us (like I wrote up above) and we're going in a few weeks. I'm hoping this is a sign that the parks will be less crowded than usual!:)

We are going May 17-23....the only issue that we had was not being able to get MM F package. Got HV so we will suffer through it.

On side note - wife has made changes to our dining plans based on what niece and nephews decided and hasn't had any big issues. But then again, we want not typical times too so we can get more rides while everyone else is eating!!!:rotfl:

It's worth trying! I called three weeks out. I didn't realize that you had to make reservations. I've been to DW five times but never once did a sit-down meal (other than Planet Hollywood). I was always young and without a family (or with a toddler) so I wasn't interested in table service.

I couldn't get Chef Mickey or any of the Princess dining at the castle or Park Fare (or whatever that's called).

We're leaving in less than three weeks and I still may change some of my reservations. lol

definately try. you never know what restaurant will have a cancellation. also, try to be flexible as to the times - there might be something available at an off time.

I wonder if the offering of the QS dining plan is helping with availability of TS restaurants. If we get to go back in December, I will be going with the QS plan myself instead of the regular dining plan. There may be 1 or 2 TS that we will do anyway but we will just pay oop for them. I like a lot of the QS options for food and will be happy with limited sit down meal time while on the trip.

Awesome that you got your birthday dinner! We planned our trip last year less then 30 days before we went. We still got reservations. Not for everything we wanted, I was a rookie lol. Anyway congrats and hope you have a magical trip!

Did you tell the CM that was your actual birthday so they can note it on the reservaton at Lecellier. I am glad you got your choice. :cool1:
