I have 2 minivans on reserve, one at Dollar for $223.71 (total) using MAG and one at Thrifty for $212.11 (total) using au02. Is it worth taking the shuttle to Thrifty to save the $11 difference? I have always used onsite rental places before and prefer to use Dollar but this trip we need a minivan and these are the best rates that I have found.
my dates are 9/29-10/4.

Thanks

I agree - rent at the airport. One of you can get the car while the others grab the bags!

I rented from Thifty and it was mostly painless. The bus was quick and the ride and service was uneventful. However, I saved over $100 on my rental. For a paltry $11 I would stick with Dollar. Not only don't you have to find and take the bus to pick up your car, but you also don't have to add the extra time to take the bus back from Thrifty when you leave.

The other "problem" I had with Thrifty is that we usually drive to Disney from the airport by going out the South exit and taking 417. Since Thrifty was on the North side of the airport and right off of 528, we took the Bee Line into I-4 and then over to Disney. I usually don't like to drive I-4 since it frequently backs up while 417 never does.

That $11 will buy you a burger at WDW! :teeth:
(No it's not worth it.)

It's not worth it. We rented from Thrifty last year and National this year. the convenince of being in the airport was worth at least $100.00. Our car at Thrifty was also a stinker.
