is it worth pre booking seats

i will be flying to sandford in aug with my wife and children dd 14 ds 17 on xl airlines could anyone please tell me if its worth pe booking seats at £10pp to make sure we are sat together ?

Hello im flyin with Thomas cook next month with my bf and we booked seats with them first we booked to sit next to each other then we choose where to sit it all cost £60 i just wanted to make sure we are next to each other x

i would pre book our seats, we have had on one occasion been split up, this was for a 5 hour flight, not a very nice experience. would not want to contemplate it for a 9 hour flight, dd was at front of plane me in the middle ds and dh at the back, but there was a nice couple who gave up there seats so me and my dd could sit together, dd was only 9 the time, could not thank them enough.

Do so ASAP free dining plan on offer to Americans soon (starts 24th Aug)-so will make booking the ADRS you want more difficult.

They do a £99.00 deal that pre-books seats and doubles your baggage allowance-worth it if you think you'll be doing lots of shopping. I got talking to a fellow passenger at Sandford last year who had been charged £100s for excess baggage (can't remember exact amount but it horrified me!!!)
