Las Vegas Is it worth it??

I will be in Vegas for a week in July, the 13-20 with some friends for a girls only vacation. Would it be worth it to try to head to Disneyland for a day? I've read the drive is about 4 hours, is that accurate? I've never been on the West Coast and don't know when I'll ever be that close again!!

Is it worth it and doable, or am I just being crazy???

Would you be staying overnight, or literally just going for the day? That drive is absolutely miserable. I'd look into a cheap flight on Southwest - can get them round trip for about $140. Worth it for me lol! And I'd definitely stay overnight, otherwise not worth it.

At its best the drive is 4 hours each way. If you leave LV at 4AM you should
make DLR in 4 1/5 to 5. Leave DLR very, very late (after 1AM) and it will be
an easy 4 hours drive. Leave DLR between 6PM and 10PM it will be a good 6
hours. So it "COULD" be done - and be a very long day...

Taking a plane into John Wayne airport is doable.
