Is it worth going with a small baby?

Hi,

My dh and I are thinking about booking a 6 night break to DLP in October half term. We would stay off site and buy annual passes. Our girls are 9 and 7 and desperate to go back, but my baby will only be 16 weeks when we travel.
Although I've done DLP with a 6 month old before, I'm doubting our decision to go this time for some reason... My concerns are:
•What (if any) rides could a small baby go on? If none, will we get to spend time together as a family if one adult is queuing with the girls whilst one stays with baby?
•If baby is too small to sit in a high chair, what are the restaurants like about having a buggy in there? (I remember always having to park it at the door, which wasn't a problem as dd could sit in a high chair)
•Will it be very cold in October, just sitting outside in a buggy all day?

I'm not sure if we should wait until he is older, but the chance to go might not come up next year...

I'm afraid I don't have any experience of going with a young baby as my DDs were all school age by the time we discovered DLP but wanted to
say :welcome: to the Disneyland Paris Trip Planning & Community Board. This is a friendly board, please join in on any thread or if you have any questions please start a new one of your own. If you haven't had a look yet, the DLP DISboard posting rules are here and the DIS posting guidelines can be found here. :)

We went a few years ago in October half term and although winter coats were needed first thing in the morning and at night, apart from one foggy morning it was glorious weather and we wore T-shirts in the day.

Hi there,

We visited when my son was 18 weeks and had a great time. We used a baby sling a lot rather than him being stuck in the pram and that helped with getting on and off of rides too. We did quite a lot of the sedate rides including POTC (he slept through it!) and whilst we didn't have any other children at the time don't forget that you can use the baby swap facility.

I did a trip report which I will find and put a link to here later on - I can't remember about the restaurants (Ds2 is 3weeks old and I have serious baby brain!) I'll ask my DH and get back you!

We are going at Christmas when Ds2 will be a similar age so it certainly hadn't put us off!

I took my parents with me. My mom doesn't like the more adventurous ride so she stayed with the baby while the rest of us had fun. Since we do not live near each other they really enjoy our vacations together.
