Is it worth going for an evening?

There is so much magic, how can it be a waste of time or money, especially as stated in an earlier post to add a day is often not much money. Last two years that is exactly how we started our vacation. It couldn't have been more magical for our then 3 year old dd. She got to see spectromagic and wishes her first night in town. Even just the lights on main street are worth it to me. However, I'm just one disney fanatic person, I know there are others out there not as much into disney. Do what is best for you and your family, be darned to anyone else.

Go for it! If you have 6+ days on your pass its worth it! After the 4th or 5th day on the pass its only like 6bucks more a day! This is how disney gets you because then you want to spend all your time in their parks and not go anyplace else (and MAN did they get me )

I'd go, even if it were for an hour and all I did was sit on a curb on Main Street!!

We always go to MK on arrival day - why delay the magic! This year we have booked Crystal Palace dinner for the first day. It is always great to catch Wishes and Spectromagic that first night too!

We usually go to MK RIGHT off the bus, but this year we're not. We're going to do a character meal at a resort instead. We have a dd4, and we don't want to wear her out. We'd rather start fresh the next morning![/QUOTE}

Yes, we (DS8 and I) arrive at 2pm we are going swimming a bit at our hotel - CBR- mid afternoon, going to Ohanas for dinner then starting fresh at MK in the morning
